Web site design is our specialty. Our development platform of choice is WordPress. “WordPress powers one of every 6 websites on the Internet, nearly 60 million in all, with 100,000 more popping up each day. 18.9 percent of the web is running on WordPress” This is according to an issue of Forbes Magazine published on the 24th of September 2012. With so many people using WordPress, you cannot ask for a better platform.

By using WordPress as a platform we have the best of both worlds. We have tools that assists us to develop sites relatively quickly & therefore cheaper, but we will also design unique sites, which are Taylor made to suite the corporate identity & business needs of the customer. Although web sites are primarily a source of information, we believe that they should also be graphically pleasing to the eye & clear, work well & be well-thought out & therefore easy to navigate. We optimize our graphics to ensure fast loading speeds & this helps your customers get what they want quickly.
Our websites are tested with all popular & relatively modern browsers. This is to make sure that our sites are cross-browser-friendly.

When we build a website, we also register it with Google & include SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), this is included at no extra cost & should help your web site appear on the first page of Google.

Hosting & Domain Registration

If you want your website to be visible to the public, you need someone to register the domain name and host the website. We are hosting resellers, so we can organise both for you. Before we design a web Site for you, you will need a domain. Domain names are used to identify one or more IP addresses. For example, the domain name microsoft.com represents about a dozen IP addresses. Domain names are used in URLs to identify particular Web pages. For example, in the URL http://www.cybergraphics.co.za/web-design/, the domain name is cybergraphics.co.za

Every domain name has a suffix that indicates which top level domain (TLD) it belongs to. There are only a limited number of such domains & each differs in price. For example:

 Because the Internet is based on IP addresses, not domain names, every Web server requires a Domain Name System (DNS) server to translate domain names into IP addresses. The Domain name is normally the name you call your business or organisation. If for example you want a Domain Name for a nonprofit organisation, your Domain Name would have “.org” at the end.
Once you register a Domain Name, you will need to renew it every year at the same time, or you will lose it.

Our special includes a domain name registration or domain name transfer. It also includes labor and all admin fees, so there are no hidden costs. Some domain extensions cost more than others, above is a list of the different types & the prices & below is the cost we charge to just host the site.

Website Maintenance

We design our websites on CMS (Content management System) so that you can maintain the website yourself if you would like. However we are also only too happy to maintain any websites that we have developed. For minor changes, we charge our standard minutely rate (so you don’t have to pay for a whole hour of maintenance if it only takes 5 minutes). We offer regular updates.
